Work capacity and power output is the name of the game with the cast iron locomotives of Appalachia, and born from that same spirit, this program is no different. My family has been hunting bear, hand forging iron and carrying timber in the wild Appalachian Mountains since before the American Revolution. It is that very tradition and lineage that gives me strength, and this program aims to pass some of that very power on to you. Whether you're an elite athlete or an everyday guy, Appalachia is a sure map to building an engine with the power of a lightning bolt in a moonshine shack.

This program can be applied to any physical pursuit of discipline requiring work capacity and sustained power output. Just because I used it to run 500 miles doesn’t mean you have to…

    Phenomenal guide for Volume Endurance!

    Fat West Virginian here,

Love how there is plenty of guid that goes well beyond just the typical barbell and treadmill style training that is normally propagated for this style of fitness and how well it encapsulates older Appalachian life.

This has been a really good look at a program before I go all in. It is not exactly what I need at the moment but will return for sure! Still reviewing the rest of your programming to find the right fit.
