I've been weightlifting for over 35 years and have tried a variety of programs. I mainly followed power / Olympic lifting and it served me well. About 15 years ago I invested in kettlebells and it discovered another side to fitness. Now that I'm 53 years old, I don't really need to bench over 400lbs or squat 500. It's taken a toll on me and I was searching for something different. I found wild hunt conditioning and decided to give the gladiator workout a try. I was impressed with the workout programs and I'm finishing up my second time through. I've seen some major results and people around me say I look a lot leaner. Through the years of my training, I've learned that there isn't a one size fits all fitness program and sometimes you'll need to make an adjustment here and there to achieve your goals. That's what I did for this program, I just substituted an exercise to fit my needs and it's working great. I would say give this program a chance and be patient. The results will be worth the wait.
I am disappointed by the added value of the program.
Indeed, the 50-day plan is just a repetition of the same thing, over and over again.
I am a sports coach myself, and I expected this program to be surprising and to have varied and progressive exercises, also suitable for experienced athletes.
I like it a lot. I think you should incorporate when to do combat for people that train MMA or Jiu-Jitsu like my wife and I. Would like to try out the Spartan if you have discounts.
Great workout info. Covers the mindset, nutrition and what you need to be a gladiator.
